My printer prints quality pages, and I get much more mileage out of my ink cartridges than what HP states on a monthly basis or whatever they detect through my system. I have two unused cartridges that I am waiting to use, and I shouldn't have to pay for more cartridges until I use these. However, I find out (I am sure it is in the fine print in the terms and services) that these cartridges will no longer work in my printer once I cancel my subscription. I have paid for these cartridges, and believe this process is not good business practice and not very customer friendly. Again, I have paid for the cartridges so why would I not be able to use them? Because of this rule, I am required to either stay in the automatic print subscription (I will receive another shipment at the end of June) or I can cancel and be out the money I have spent for the 2 cartridges I already have. I would then still need to buy another cartridge at the local office depot. I would be paying for 3 cartridges for 1 at then end of the day.
Does HP have a way to suspend an account for 1 to 3 months for people like me?? I think it is a waste of money and ink.
Thank you.

Hi @AWRussell,
Welcome to the HP Support Community
I'd like to help!
There is no option to place your account on hold.
When you enroll in an HP Instant Ink service, you pay a monthly fee to print a defined number of pages per month. The plans are based on the number of pages that you print, not on cartridges you use.
Hope this helps
