I am(was?) on the instant ink program. I do not print that often. LAST WEEK, I needed to print something. I was out of ink. I went to Office Depot and purchased a HP brand cartridge. When I installed it, it is telling me it will not print because it is not an INSTANT INK cartridge.
HOW DO I GET OUT OF THIS PROGRAM. I do not use it that often. I want to print TODAY. I have been through every step of the "virtual assistant". I've unplugged, reset, jumped through hoops, etc. etc. for several day now. I WANT TO TALK TO SOMEONE ABOUT THIS. I am ready to throw it out the window and purchase a NEW Canon printer!!!! Arg! I spent $30 on a cartridge that i cannot use because HP say NO! I'm frustrated and angry. Can someone please HELP?

Hi @Tplease,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd like to help!
Have you canceled your instant ink program?
And here's what you need to know & do:
If you have an instant ink cartridge on your printer, remove it and discard that, you can only use regular cartridges on your printer once you cancel the program.
That said, if you have trouble using regular cartridges, I recommend you turn off the web service using the steps from this link: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c04808536
when done successfully, check if it works fine.
If not if you still wish to talk to someone, I've sent you a private message with further instructions. In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Support Community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
