Apologies in advance. I know this subject has been done to death on here. My printer was working well until last week when it lost contact with the WiFi router. Short story is I eventually restored printer to factory settings and reinstalled. All is well and printer is now on line. However
Printer will not print as it insists it does not have instant ink cartridges fitted. The HP smart app \ instant ink account insists that I do have instant ink cartridges (I do) but is unable to connect to the printer. I have tried every solution posted on the internet. Switched on/off, removed and reinserted cartridges, replaced the printer on the app. To add to it all HP help services are down .
Anyone got a fix for this or is it time to take printer to the recycling centre?

True - Instant Ink Support is available during days and hours determined by the region.
True, too -- when other avenues fail, it might be best to talk to support.
I am sorry the solutions are not coalescing.
The issue might be as simple (or as complex) as Web Services not working -- without Web Services, the printer cannot connect to your Instant Ink service.
There are limited "on this side" options to get Web Services to work.
True - you have likely tried these during the "every solution" attempts.
The following is included here for review by those reading...
================== =====================
Web Services
Web Services is used to connect the printer to the Internet in general with the added "bonus" of having to connect to HP Services at the end of that journey. Web Services then recognizes the printer and hands it to whatever service is "next". For example, Web Services might hand your printer to ePrint, Instant Ink, or certain Cloud services.

HP printers - Cannot connect to Web Services
What else?
- Web Services might be sensitive to your DNS setup.
- The source of the Web Services issue could be your Internet Service Provider,
- The source of the Web Services problem could be an interim connection at that moment,
- The source of the Web Services problem could be tangled within the Printer connection setup
- Try: Restart the router that controls your network – next, restart the computer(s) and the printer.
- Consider, if you can stand it: Switch off your phone(s), and Restart those devices.
- Consider the netsh reset options for your Windows machine. Reference: How (and Why) to Perform a netsh winsock reset on Windows
