My current plan is for 100 pages per month (though I have 6 months free, due to new printer) , and my next upgrade isn't until February But I need to print 195 pages today and I will have more to print either end of this week or sometime next week. So basically I am going to be over my plan. What are my options?

Check the details of your trial period. At least in the US the limits are different in the trial period. For example, I have a Deskjet 2622 I enrolled in Instant Ink when I got it. There was a six month "free" printing, which allowed up to 700 pages regardless of the plan chosen. During the free period overages (under the 700 page limit) were not counted and unused pages are not carried forward. I do not know if this is the same in the UK.
Be sure to pay attention to the expiration of the free period. After the free period overage pages will result in additional charges. After the free period, if you print less than your monthly allocated usage, the unused pages will roll over to the next month (up to a maximum of three months).
