Instant ink

I am waiting for new catridges for printer as I have just resubscribed to instant ink. However,  HP keep sending me emails saying they won't send ink as printer is not connected to the internet - which it is!! 

HP is a nightmare.

HP+ printers are designated by a lowercase "e" at the end of their model number (e.g., 8135e rather than 8135). These models are enabled for HP's smart printing ecosystem, which requires a permanent internet connection, an HP account, and the exclusive use of Original HP ink for the lifetime of the printer.

The printer needs to be online to print or even to scan.  It needs to phone home and if you use the new HP App it needs to connect to your HP account.

Reset the 2720

• Disconnect the power cable while the printer is on.
• Press and hold the power button and cancel button together and plug the power cable simultaneously.
• Continue to hold for 20 seconds and let go the buttons and allow the printer to initialize
