I hope someone can help me, I can find no answers on the app or website and no helpful” help “ links!
Before the new HP app I could easily open the app and find all the info ( ink levels, # of pages left, rollover pages) and an easy interface to scan, print , etc . NOW I can’t !!

It is very frustrating! Can they not just make a simple app just for printing??

please tell me if you have a solution. Thank you

Hi @BDWS

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

I can understand how frustrating it feels when something that used to be simple now seems harder to find. You’ve already shown great patience by exploring the app and website, and I appreciate the effort you’ve put in.

Let’s focus on how you can get back the visibility and control you need for ink levels, rollover pages, and easy printing.

How to access the information in the new HP App

Ink Levels and Instant Ink Details

  • Open the HP App on your Windows PC or mobile device.
  • Select your printer from the home screen.
  • Tap Supplies or Instant Ink.
  • Here you’ll see ink levels, page counts, and rollover pages.

Printing and Scanning Interface

  • From the printer’s home screen in the HP App, choose Print Documents or Scan.
  • The interface is slightly different from before, but the same functions are available.
  • For scanning, you can select flatbed or feeder, adjust resolution, and save directly to PDF or JPEG.

Simplify the App View

  • In the HP App, go to Settings > Personalize Home Screen.
  • You can hide features you don’t use and keep only printing, scanning, and supplies visible.
  • This makes the app feel more streamlined, closer to the simple interface you preferred.

Web Portal for Instant Ink

  • If you want a direct view of your subscription details without navigating the app, you can log in here:
    HP Instant Ink Account Portal
  • This shows ink levels, pages printed, rollover pages, and billing information in one place.

By customizing the HP App and using the Instant Ink portal, you’ll have the same visibility and control you enjoyed before, with a cleaner interface tailored to your needs.
