OfficeJet 3830 Series

My OfficeJet 3830 printer hasn’t been used in about 8 months, I tried to use it yesterday and it wouldn’t print at all? The printer is in great condition, no damage, and it goes through the printing process, it just won’t print. There’s colored/black ink installed and fresh paper. I connected the printer to the same WiFi as my laptop and did about every trouble shooting solution I can think of!

I cleaned the ink cartridges, unplugged the machine for an hour, updated the printer, manually cleaned the ink cartridges, tried to print from the HP app, everything! I’m not sure what else to do as this printer is pretty much new, I would hate to have to get another printer. Thank you!

Welcome to HP Community

I have gone through your Post and would like to help

Print a Quality Diagnostic Page and let me know if it prints

  1. Load plain paper into the input tray.

  2. On the printer control panel, swipe the display to the left, and then touch Setup.

  3. Touch Tools, and then touch Print Quality Report.

A Print Quality Diagnostic page prints.

Thank you
