The HP Officejet Pro 8600 (N911) Series is not Instant Ink Eligible.

Thank you, I saw the 8610 and was hopeful it was a miss.

I read an answer given in December 2018 that I could register my Officejet Pro 8600 Plus as an 8610 because they used the same ink, etc.  Now you're saying this isn't true?  I just learned about instant ink from a friend in Colorado.  I'm very interested in signing up for it.

Hi,

I am afraid you cannot.

 

The Officejet Pro  8610 was the first printer to support the Instant Ink service.

Although using the same ink, earlier models are not supported by the service.
