Hello,

I currently have 2 HP accounts. I have my "local" HP account that has all my actual HP activity tied to it. I use my personal Google email address to log in to it.

Somehow also, however, I have a HP account that is tied to that same Google email, except it's independent of the one I already mentioned - it doesn't actually contain any relevant content.

How do I go about folding this 2nd oauth-authentication based account into my original, HP, "local" account?

Thank you,

DonMusto

HI @DonMusto

I have been part of the forum for almost 13 years. Because I participate in some special programs, I created, in some cases inadvertently,  numerous HP accounts with different forum names as well.

There is no way that I am aware of to fold or merge the accounts to one forum name's account. I have asked about it in the past and it did not seem to be possible so I just left it alone.

I recommend that you do as I have done and only use the account with the forum name that has all of your activity tied to it.

Thank you, @Dilip_18, but I am referring to accounts used to log in to HP.com, such as this forum.

I am not referring to logging in to Windows.

Can you please assist or point me to someone who can? Thanks.

Thank you for responding, I appreciate your time and effort.

As we have limited support boundaries in the support community as of now. I would request you to contact our HP Support Engineers and should be able to sort this out.

Please reach out to the HP Technical Support team in your region regarding the merge of 2 HP accounts.

Follow the instructions below to reach them:

1) Click on this link - https://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp

2) Select your product type below.

3) Enter the serial of your device.

4) Select the country from the drop-down.

5) Select the chat or get phone number options based on your preferences.

6) Fill the web form and proceed further.

If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.

For any hardware issue or repair please click on the link Phone Assist Worldwide

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
