Price increase of HP Instant Ink

Is that the same if you are away - on holiday/vacation and not connected to wifi (say if printer was switched off).

In the UK, the £0.99 cheapest price plan changed from 15 pages per month to only 10 per month, and reduced rollover to 30 pages maximum.

Your first three sentences are correct, although the second could be argued.  (The printer will not print until the cartridges are replaced, some would consider that "stop working".)

The next two might be correct or false, depending on if you are signed up for HP+.  If you are part of the HP+ program you have agreed to use HP cartridges for the life of the printer.  If the printer has never been enrolled in HP+ this restriction does not apply.  Note that printers with Dynamic Secutiry may block certain third party cartridges.

Sorry HP,  if this sticks, when this printer dies I'm done with HP printers.  Instank Ink is a nice idea but you got greedy.

I was about to ask if I'm the only one who's price increased by 100%, from1.99€ to 3.99€.

Is it the same price for color and B/W printers?

We have had the same e-mail.  We are on the £1.99 plan and ours is going up to £2.99.  I have looked at how much we have printed and how many replacement cartridges we have had.  We have not had a replacement cartridge for well over a year so I think I may just cancel my plan and buy cartridges as I need them

They will catch up when the printer is back online after a couple of emails requesting you to. put it back online. They still have your credit card details so would probably bill you for the amount as usual.

The cartridges you get are high capacity more than the one,'s you buy from a retailer  so they do not have to be changed as often.

I am seriously thinking of cancelling my subscription ,using up my current stock & returning to buying locally.

If more people do this they may ( but unlikely) rethink their price hike. We just need to let HP know that we are unhappy and that they are being excessively greedy after having made vast sums of profit.
