Hi @Honeybunnz,
Welcome to the HP Support Community
I understand you are facing an issue with your HP Officejet Pro 8620). Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.
Let's try resetting the printer and check once
- Have you made any changes post that this issue raised
- Do you see any lights blinking on the control panel of the printer
- Have you observed an error code on the display
- Is your printer connected to WIFI or Wired
check for connectivity
1.) Are the printer and PC/ Phone connected to the same network?
2.) Is your router dual-band enabled i.e., both 2.4GHz and 5GHz? If yes, make sure the dual-band has different SSIDs for 2.4G and 5G networks.
3.) What is the distance between the router and the printer? The recommended distance for a stable connection is 9-12ft.
4.) Is there a WPS push button on the router?
5.) What's the device you are printing from - Mac/ PC/ Android/ iOS?
1) Take out the cartridges.
2) Unplug the power cord from the printer & wall.
3) Wait for 30 seconds.
4) Plug the power cord back into the printer and wall, ensure the printer is plugged into the wall & not into a surge protector.
5) Insert the cartridges back into the printer.
Uninstall printer drivers from the device manager on your computer and reinstall the drivers
