When I would send things to print, the pages would come out blank. I've replaced the cartridges and cleaned the print head but it didn't work.
I reset the printer to its original settings and now I have a case of the chicken or the egg.
I am getting a message that in order to print I need to enroll in the Instant Ink program (pic #1) but in order to enroll in the program I need to print out a code from the printer (pic #4). When I turn on the printer it will ask for me to print the alignment page but then I just get a message that it's "Printing the alignment page" with the circle (pic#3) but nothing happens. The printer doesn't do anything. Can someone please help?!?

@DJRJAY, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.
As you have reset the printer, the Instant Ink data on the printer will be deleted.
You will have to re-enroll the printer in Instant Ink.
Kindly follow the steps mentioned in this document - Enrolling in HP Instant Ink
You do not need the printer claim code for this model printer, the printer is automatically claimed to your account during the setup. Go to 123.hp.com to download the HP Smart app, and then set up your printer.
if the app is already installed, reinstall it.
Hope this helps! Let me know how it goes.

After a number of tries and retries I finally got my 9018 printer to accept the cartridges, and it aligned the print heads. It now works.
Thanks for the suggestion, but I took a few tries to get it all to work.
