My printer (HP9125e) stopped printing because I did not have a subscription. I never had signed up for a subscription and was using individually bought cartridges. Returning the printer, never buying another HP and thinking very hard about my legal options.........

Please read this post then provide some details. Is your printer the HP Officejet Pro 9125e? What exactly are any error messages on the printer or computer screen?
Are the cartridges HP or third party? Are they Instant Ink cartridges?
I am not an employee of HP, I am a volunteer posting here on my own time.

Hi! Problem was solved with a complete reset of the printer. The cartridges are HP 936 - HP issue (I don't do 3rd party ink). The message was saying I needed to update my payment method or use HP Ink Cartridges. I'm not going to try to figure out what went sideways - just happy a complete reset solved the problem.
