Recycle Instant Ink Cartridges

I used to get return envelopes, but it appears HP has stopped sending those.  Can I still recycle my instant ink cartridges, and if so, how do I do it?

I understand how inconvenient it feels when you’re ready to recycle your Instant Ink cartridges but don’t see the return envelopes arriving as they used to. You’ve already taken the right step by asking, and I appreciate your effort to recycle responsibly.

How recycling works now

• Return envelopes are now not sent with every single cartridge shipment.
• Instead, envelopes are included once you’ve accumulated multiple cartridges, so that they can all be returned together.
• This approach avoids multiple small shipments and makes the recycling process more efficient.

What you can do

1. Save your used cartridges

• Keep them safely until you receive the next recycling envelope in your Instant Ink package.
• Place all used cartridges together in that envelope when it arrives.

2. Or follow the steps below to request for return envelopes manually

• Sign in to your HP Instant Ink account: https://instantink.hpconnected.com/subscriptions
• Once you have logged in Click on Instant Ink option on the left hand side of the page. 
• Then click on Shipment Tracking: 
• Now look for an option that says "Recycle your ink cartridge" 
• Click on it and fill in the required details to obtain the return envelope.
