Hi @Bettagurl82,
Thank you for your reply, I will be glad to help you.
I understand the HP Deskjet 2752e from the previous owner's HP account and enroll it into your own, follow these steps:
1. Reset the Printer to Factory Settings
Resetting the printer to its factory settings can help dissociate it from the previous owner’s account.
- Turn on the printer.
- Press and hold the "Wireless" and "Cancel" buttons (both are located on the printer's control panel) until the power light flashes. This indicates the printer is resetting.
- Wait for the printer to restart. It may take a few minutes.
2. Remove the Printer from the Previous Owner's HP Account
Unfortunately, you cannot directly remove the printer from the previous owner's HP account without their intervention. However, you can contact HP Support to assist with this issue. Be ready to provide proof of purchase if required.
3. Enroll the Printer into Your HP Account
Once the printer is reset and dissociated from the previous account, you can enroll it into your HP account.
- Download and install the HP Smart app from the App Store on your iOS device.
- Open the HP Smart app and sign in to your HP account or create a new one.
- Add the printer by following the on-screen instructions. The app will search for available printers and guide you through the setup process.
Additional Tips
- Ensure that the printer is connected to your Wi-Fi network during the setup process.
- If you encounter any issues, refer to the HP printer setup (HP Smart app) | HP® Support
Refer to this document: HP DeskJet 2752e All-in-One Printer User manual
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
