HP OfficeJet 5230 All-in-One Printer

I have a persistent error message: "The indicated cartridges are not communicating correctly with the printer. If this problem persists, replace the cartridges." I have read through all the threads on here and none of the fixes are working (cleaning the contacts, restarting the printer). May I please be offered a bespoke solution. I use the printer every day, so resolving this matter is both urgent and important. Thank you.

Are you using HP genuine ink cartridges?

 

If you have performed all the steps from this document and still having issues, you may have to try replacing the cartridges.

Thank you. Well, yes, it was an emergency, so I replaced the cartridges at my own expense, and am now able to print. However, this is an unsatisfactory solution, as I am on a monthly payment plan in which cartridges are included. If HP provide me with faulty cartridges, then HP should replace them at their expense. Please arrange shipment of replacement cartridges. Please also reimburse me for the cartridges I bought at my own expense. Thank you.
