Same for me - started happening end of March!
I have removed Web Services, and then re-added.
However, the printer says "Cannot print. Connect printer to update HP Instant Ink status".
I click Connect.
Printer says "Connecting. Note: this process may take a couple of minutes"
Printer says "Could not connect to the Web Services Server. Check the Internet Connection"
https://portal.hpsmart.com shows my printer, but last Synced 24 Mar, 2026 21:10.
Nothing has changed on my side. Something has broken on HP's side.
Printer is connected to the internet. I can _sometimes_ print, but it only prints a few pages and then stops.
C'mon, fix your servers HP

After buying the phone support option from HP, and getting confirmation to call via email … there has been a message on the UK number to call, saying that due to ‘unforeseen circumstances’ they can’t take my call.
I’m willing to put good money that staff are off for Easter, despite HP being happy to take my money. 😡 If the service is closed, say that, don’t lie.

I rang the support today. It is a general problem. The support technician hasn't sorted out the problem yet, but is going to ring back tomorrow to continue the process. I can only say that you might all need to ring the support in your countries.
