I have two issues.

 

1. I had subscribed the instant-ink last year, and cancelled it through online-chat, but they did not cancel my online subscription and kept charging me for several months. how should I request refund for those?

 

2. My credit card was expired and the instant-ink service was stopped because they could not charge me. I think from this point, I could not print anything and set-up this printer to my new desktop. 

 

Can anyone resolve these issues?

  1. Instant Ink Subscription Auto Charge:

    • If you are experiencing unexpected charges from your HP Instant Ink subscription, ensure that you review the Instant Ink account settings to confirm your current plan and verify any changes in usage that might affect charges. If discrepancies persist, contact HP Instant Ink support through their official support channel for assistance in resolving billing issues.
  2. Printer Set-Up Failure:

    • For installation failures, ensure you are following the instructions for your printer model:
      • Do Not Power Off or Disconnect: Make sure not to turn off your printer or unplug any cables during the installation process.
      • Correct Installation Sequence: Install the printer software before connecting the printer via USB or parallel cable to ensure proper setup.
      • Network Installations: If installing over a network and encountering issues, ensure that the network path is not excessively long and map to a shorter network path if necessary.
      • Plug-and-Play Issues: If using Plug-and-Play on Windows and install fails, try running the setup program again and select an unused port.
      • Compatibility: Make sure your system meets the necessary requirements and any additional software such as drivers are properly updated.
