HP Officejet Pro 8620 e-All-in-One Printer

This printer (OJ 8620) broke down and was thrown away and replaced with a new one (OJ 8730).
I would like to unregister the OJ 8620 from HP Smart, but when I go to "Manage printer settings" I am redirected to the new printer.
Any idea how to delete the old printer without compromising my "Instant ink" registration that I have for the new printer?

Thank you for your reply, unfortunately it doesn't solve my problem. As you can see in the screenshot below, Instant Ink still shows OJ 8620 even though this printer has been discarded. I called HP and they told me that there was no way to remove this printer from Instant Ink

Make sure you contacted the actual instant ink support team is all I can think of.  Get a real agent, not a virtual one.
