HP OfficeJet Pro 9020

Hi at all!

I recently bought an OfficeJet Pro 9020 printer through Amazon Warehouse. It arrived yesterday and I couldn't find Instant Ink cartridges or coupons inside.
When I turn it on it obviously asks for cartridges but I don't have any ...
Since I want to activate instant ink I would not have to buy cartridges in the store for nothing ... is it possible to register the printer anyway in some way so that I can directly deliver the Instant Ink cartridges?

To date 06 September 2021, after 3 days and 225 readings still no help? What would be the meaning of this community? I am also trying to contact support via whatsapp but the paradox into which HP falls is that it seems not to know the reality ... there is Amazon Warehouse and unfortunately there are dishonest people who make the printer without cartridges inside ... And here it is an abyss. Without cartridges (setup or normal) you cannot register the printer to Instant Ink because you have to "necessarily" print 1 page (!!!!) with a code ... Can't you see this code from the printer webserver ?? ? Cannot register the printer via serial (since it is connected to the internet) ??? Otherwise you need to buy a cartridge kit of about 1000 pages and then be able to subscribe to Instant Ink ... To save money ... But what a paradox is that ????

I'd like to help!

 

I understand you did not receive the printer with the setup cartridges.

 

To set up the printer you would need the ink cartridges, the printer will not be able to move forward to the next step unless it has completed the alignment process.

 

As your printer has a display, the claim can be viewed on the screen but to reach there you will still need to set up the printer.

 

I'd recommend you reach the HP Phone support team with regards to the missing ink cartridges.

Follow the instructions below to reach them:

 

1) Click on this link - https://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp

2) Select your product type below.

3) Enter the serial of your device. 

4) Select the country from the drop-down. 

5) Select the chat or get phone number options based on your preferences. 

6)Fill the web-form and proceed further.

 

If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.
