Thanks for anyone who can help!

We signed up for Instant Ink to avoid having to buy cartridges, but now I'm worried! My InstaInk application says I'm not low and doesn't project a ship date but when *I* look at my ink levels, black specifically, I am worried to start another big print job to use some of my roll over pages! I went on this community and saw that SO MANY have said InstaInk doesn't send cartridges until completely empty and I can't risk that. Can someone please advise if InstaInk will send me a back-up cartridge in good faith? How should I proceed? I'm really tempted to cancel and go back to buying cartridges on my own.

Humbly,

Jessica

Thank you for the information. I see that both the ink cartridges have more than 50% of ink in them. They are not low. Instant Ink server will ship the ink cartridges when any one of the ink cartridges is at or below 20%.

It will not ship the ink cartridges in advance for you to store.

I hope this answers your query adequately.

I've been on the Instant Ink plan for more than a year, and I've never had any supply problems (except for an initial package that was delayed, but arrived just in time). I did print a 600+ page document one month, for which I bumped my plan from 100 to 300 pages, but I never came close to running out of ink. I replaced the cartridges two months ago and just got notification that the next set is on its way - although I don't expect to need any ink for several months.

Wow. I hope HP can help me then because that sounds like exactly what I was hoping for when I subscribed. If I could hold the next set in my hands for awhile I would feel much better about printing!
