Hi @ttpptt,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like you're having trouble connecting your HP DeskJet 3632 printer to finalize your Instant Ink purchase. The error code GCAG001 typically indicates a connectivity issue. Here are some steps you can try to resolve it.
- Check Internet Connection: Ensure your printer and laptop are connected to a stable Wi-Fi network.
- Restart Devices: Power cycle your printer, laptop, and router. Turn them off, wait a minute, and then turn them back on.
- Update HP Smart App: Make sure you have the latest version of the HP Smart app installed on your laptop.
- Reinstall HP Smart App: If updating doesn’t work, try uninstalling and reinstalling the HP Smart app.
- Reconnect Printer: In the HP Smart app, go to the printer settings and try to reconnect your printer to the network.
- Verify Printer Setup: Ensure your printer is properly set up and connected to your network. You can print a network configuration page from your printer to check its status.
- Check Instant Ink Status: Visit the HP Instant Ink website and log in to check your account status or make any changes.
- Clear Printer Queue: Make sure there are no print jobs stuck in the queue that might be causing a conflict.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.

Sorry to hear you're having trouble connecting your laptop to your HP3630! Here are a few steps you can try to resolve the issue:
1. Check Connection: Make sure your laptop is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your HP3630 printer.
2. Restart Devices: Sometimes, simply restarting both your laptop and the printer can resolve connection issues.
3. Update Drivers: Ensure that your printer drivers are up to date. You can download the latest drivers from HP’s official website.
4. Use HP Smart App: If you haven’t already, try using the HP Smart app to manage the connection and finalize your Instant Ink purchase.
If you're still having trouble, contacting HP support might be the best next step.
