What causes the printer credit code to change?  I can not seem to register my Envy 5055 printer for instant ink service because of the printer credit code can not be found.  I can print it and do it again, the code is not the same any time with HP Smart or using set-up icon to show the printer credit code. What causes the printer credit code to change?

Correction O/S is most likely Win10 (32) because thi9sa is an older system.

Are you referring to the printer claim code? 

The claim code will change after 24hrs. You will have to claim the printer before 24hrs of the claim code generation.

My printer credit code is changing almost by the second.   I have done a factory reset. Restarted Wi-fi.  Stopped web service then.  Restarted web service from the printer control screen and the same using HP Smart.  Nothing I have tried seem to slow the print credit code change every little bit , less than a minute..  I even have had my internet service check out because it seem to be going up and down.

Sever tines I use the replace exiting printer with new printer.  That did not work !  Each new sheet printed use ink that I am running short of  :=(
