HP Officejet 3833
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I unsubscribed from Instant Ink as only ever had 1 set of cartridges sent to me, which (as I was not in and could not sign) were returned to a delivery depot which is an hour's round trip, not counting waiting in the queue (I've been there before for other things, so I know what the queue is like).

So as ink had run out, I had to buy my own cartridges.

I came out of Instant Ink and told them in an email NOT to disable my cartridges as they were mine, not theirs.

However, HP ignored this and has disabled my printer. I can tell the cartridges are not theirs as when I log in, they report not being able to read the ink levels!!

Their office is only open office hours, when I am also working. No email address for complaints.

I will be spreading the news that people should use Instant Ink with great care and that the contract you agree too is less than transparent.  If no resolution , this is the last HP printer I ever buy.

Don't trouble yourselves. No one else has contacted me despite me supplying the required details. SO spend the time trying to upgrade HP customer service instead (which I note on various websites is rated poorly currently).

I have purchased two new cartridges and got printer working.

I would charge you for the cartridges that I had store-purchased  myself and that your company disabled, contrary to the terms and conditions of our contract, but life is too short and clearly HP need the money more than I do.
