HP 5258 printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I keep getting remove and reinstall cartridge error.  The printer was printing fine when it stopped suddenly with this error.  As mentioned on other threads, hard booted the printer, replaced the cartridge with new one, also did printer firmware update successfully.  Nothing has helped solve the error.  Please help.

Hi @vgoyalia

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I understand you are not able to print due to ink cartridge error. I'd be happy to assist you.

If you have tried the steps mentioned in this document and the issue persists, I'm afraid this could be a hardware issue with the printer as you have already used a new ink cartridge.

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
