Solved!

replaced my HP65 with HP65 in my Deskjet 2652 printed for awhile then said they were not compatible

I have a Deskjet 2652 I replaced the ink cartridges HP65 with the same HP65 it printed for awhile then quit. It said they were not compatible and I could contact Instant ink support for help to solve my problem.

Hi @panzercdr

 

Welcome to the HP Support Community. 

 

Try these steps -

 

1) Take out the cartridges. 
2) Unplug the power cord from the printer & wall. 
3) Wait for 30 seconds.  
4) Plug the power cord back into the printer and wall, ensure the printer is plugged into the wall & not to a surge protector. 
5) Insert the cartridges back into the printer.

 

Also, try cleaning the ink cartridges. Refer to step#3 and 5 from this document
