Hello @dmaii71, Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding the HP printer.
We appreciate the opportunity to assist you and are glad we could help work toward a resolution. We hope our support has been valuable.
I understand your concern about the unused shipments and the request for a new printer. To better assist you and explore the available options, could you please help me with a few details:
- Are you currently enrolled in an active HP Instant Ink subscription plan?
- Do you still have access to the printer that was originally enrolled with the service?
- When you mention you “forgot you had it,” has the printer not been in use for an extended period?
- Have you made any recent attempts to use or reconnect the printer?
- Could you confirm if the ink shipments you received are still unopened or unused?
Just to set the right expectation, HP Instant Ink is a subscription-based ink service and does not typically include printer replacement. However, based on your situation, I’d be happy to guide you on the best possible resolution once I have the above details.
Take care and have an amazing day!
