Deskjet 2633
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I'm currently at university and haven't been able to get my Deskjet online and sending information regarding my Instant Ink usage for roughly a month now. With being in student accommodation, I can't connect my printer wirelessly to the router, so I initially tried using Wifi-Direct last month. I managed to use it to print, and my printer must have connected to wifi, as I can see that on my supply status tab it last connected and sent info back on the 23rd September. However, I haven't been able to get it online and sending supply status updates since then, despite still being able to print wirelessly using the Wifi-Direct. I'm aware HP disables printer usage if it isn't able to tell how much Instant Ink has been used, so I'm keen to get it online. Any help?

WiFi Direct does not access the internet.

You can try setting up a mobile hotspot using a cell phone.
