Hi, appears to be a common issue, but I cant fix mine.  My HP Envy 5544 will not print in colour from applications.  The dialog box has no option for colour anymore.  I have noticed it is there on a PDF document, but even selecting colour results in  it printing black and white.  I have:

Printed test page direct from printer, this prints in colour no issues.  I have reinstalled printer and drivers and still no colour.  I have tried to update firmware and drivers from HP Smart and it fails every time.  Nothing appears to work.  

I am getting close to buying another printer soon.  Any ideas please?

Thank you, buttbut cartridges are fine, colour prints fine in test page when selecting from printer menu.  There is no option to select colour in the print dialog box like there used to be.  Appears to be a software issue.
