After not using my printer for a while, it now shows white stripes amoung the page where black ink should be. It works fine with color.

What I tried:

  • Replacing all my ink cardridges
  • Run Printer Status report at least 5 times
  • Run Printer Quality Report at least 5 times
  • Run Clean Printhead at least 5 times
  • Run Clean Ink Smear at least 5 times
  • Preformed a factory reset

Thew odd thing is, after printing multiple plages it seems to get better and better. But when waiting for a while and trying again, it is as bad as it was before.

In the attachments I have 10 scans of a black book i copies 10 times. Each time, the print gets slightly better. But then for some reason with the 10'th scan (wich was made right after 9) it is even worse than it was before.

For good measure, I also included scans for the Print Status Report and Print Quality Report.

Hope you can help me out!

Samuël

Thanks for your quick awnser,

I tried the venting but the cardridges where fine, the vent was open on each. Still tried to clean what I could, but changed nothing.

Regarding warranty, im afraid this printer is too old for that.

I didnt receive any private message however. Waited for a while, but the messages still seem too be empty.

Is there anything else i could try to resolve this issue aside from warranty?

Thanks
