Hi,

What Mac OS X version you are using? (Click Apple icon > About this Mac)

 

Assuming it is one of the latest versions (e.g. 10.10 or 10.11), the printer is incompatible with the operating system, any compatible printer models are listed below:

http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04473034

 

Additionally, the HP Officejet T45 is too old and been retired, no support content or drivers are available for this model anymore:

http://support.hp.com/us-en/retired-products
