Why do ALL ink carts go empty a t the exact same time. I replace one and before I can print another page the next one is magically empty, and so on until , I've wasted 45 minutes getting new carts.....ALL 4 OF THEM?????

The issue is that when a cartridge is replaced the printer goes through a priming cycle to remove air from the "plumbing".  This will use some ink in all the colors.  If four cartridges are replaced one at a time there will be four priming cycles applied to all the cartridges, which will use 20% or more of the ink.

It would be best to check the ink levels and replace all the cartridges that are low at once rather than sequentially.
