HP Officejet Pro 8600
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My officejet pro 8600 gives an error on startup that says “Printer Failure: There is a problem with the printer or ink system. Turn printer off, then on. If problem persists, contact HP”. I have checked the print cartridges and tried putting in new ones, and I still get the same message. Any ideas?

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I understand you are not able to print due to printer error. I'd be happy to assist you.

 

Kindly perform the steps mentioned in this document to resolve this issue.

 

If the issue persists, perform step 2 mentioned in this document.
