Printer keeps 'forgetting' settings

HP Envy 5546
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

When I go to the 'Print' function I expect the settings on the printer to be as I left them, and it normally is.  But, about once a week it suddenly 'forgets' all the settings and defaults to Letter paper size, single side printing, where my default is A4, Duplex, Flip on Short Side.
