Background:

I was running low on ink, and the printer suddenly stopped printing correctly on my last print job - 2 out of 3 pages were fine, the last was not legible. I figured it was just the low ink.

 

I bought new ink cartridges and replaced all four.

 

The most I can get out of my printer now is maybe a streak of magenta. Nothing else is coming out. Printed pages are practically white, like nothing happened to them.

 

Multiple attempts to run the printhead cleaning action have not made any difference. On one occasion it actually told me the printhead cleaning action failed.

 

Is there a way to manually clean the printhead? What is the best way to go about doing this?
