Hi
I have an Apple Network which is extended. My LaserJet is connected via Wi-fi. When I print a test report, it’s written that there is “conflict” due to several access points (several routers).
How can I avoid that the printer is “jumping” to another router?
Thanks.

Welcome to HP forums, I see that you are getting connectivity issue.
- What's the make and model of your WiFi router?
- Do you have any antivirus software installed on your Mac?
- Do you have a guest network enabled on your WiFi router?
- Approximately how far is the printer located from the WiFi router?
Meanwhile:
Could you check for WiFi interference and also perform a ping test using the Mac Network Utility and let me know the results. Use the printer IP address to perform a ping test, the printer IP can be located by touching the wireless icon on the printer display.
Reply with the requested information for more assistance.

Welcome to HP forums, I see that you are getting connectivity issue.

Jeppe: Apple Airport Extreme
- Do you have any antivirus software installed on your Mac?
Jeppe: Yes - Avast
- Do you have a guest network enabled on your WiFi router?
Jeppe: No
- Approximately how far is the printer located from the WiFi router?
Jeppe: 1 meter (and a wall)
Meanwhile:
Could you check for WiFi interference
Jeppe: I have some Bluetooth equipment and other stuff. But it’s needed 😉
and also perform a ping test using the Mac Network Utility and let me know the results. Use the printer IP address to perform a ping test, the printer IP can be located by touching the wireless icon on the printer display.
Jeppe: see attachment
I think the problems are due to several Apple access points – can it be avoid that the printer “jumps” between these?

It looks like you were interacting with @sandytechy20, but he is out for the day & I'll be glad to help you out.
I can see that there are no packet loss during the ping test. Updating the printer firmware and then assigning a manual IP for the printer may resolve the issue. Let's try these steps:
Please ensure the printer is up-to-date with its firmware. If you are unsure, you can download and install the latest firmware update from here.
Once you are up-to-date with the firmware, please set a manual IP address for the printer. The steps on how to set a manual IP address can be found here.
Let me know how it goes!
