We are just looking to print wirelessly for in home residential printing to our existing printer.

Your printer model is USB only.

 

The only option to enable network or wirless printing is to setup the PC that is connected to your printer as a print server.  Then as long as the PC is online it can recieve and forward print jobs to your USB connected printer.  This requires you to share your printer on the local network.
