I have configured SMTP (Scan to Email option) on HP Printer E77830 MFP.
- It's properly authentication with ID & Password
- It's working for approx 20-30 min after that showing error smtp gateways not responding .

I have reset printer/cold reset & updated latest firmware but same issue on SMTP
Any oone can share why its happens, its SMTP issue/ Device issue.

Most common error we see with scan to email is bad DNS settings on the network side of the printer. This is particularily common where the SMTP server is not located on the same physcial network.
What is the actual firmware version you have installed?

Which DNS Use on Printer:
SMTP Server out of India.
I am using same DNS Primary & secondary which are using on Desktop/laptop.
If I install Printer IP on system & using through outlook its working fine. MY ID & Password using on authentication same on printer(SMTP Authentication).
Can you Suggest which DNS I use on Printer?? SMTP Server DNS/ India DNS. ??
Error on Printer when test mail Send from Printer through EWS Page: The operation failed. Please verify your configuration and try again

If the SMTP server is outside of your network, I would suggest you use a universal DNS like Google. Also ensure that your gateway or firewall is not blocking after a certain amount of traffic has been generated.
