Color LaserJet CP2025
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Till now I haven't any problém with my printer, but now when I will send a print (or choose a test print) printer will start from the stand by mode, some rollers will start  rotating, but then they will stop, wait a half of second and start rotating again and still around it's looping. No error - message on the display is "Print preparation". I also tired to use manual paper tray1, but printer don't load a paper, looping is before paper loading. Sometimes print is ok, but it's very sporadic. Afternoon I will try post a video.

Thank you for each help and your advice

It's a so called Sticky Solenoid problem and it's a hardware problem which you need to take it apart to fix it up.

Check here and it'll help.

Take off

1. right cover (one screw)

2. rear top L-shape - looks like upside-down L (two screws)

3. upper cover  (one screw) and lift it up and away

then you can see exactly what's look like in the pictures.

As to the black plastic case which has a fan with it there's no need to take it off, you just need to loosen a screw from the top side then loosen it to the right side a bit then you can see and take care the solenoid.

Only to be sure sending video for error confirmation

Yes, that's how CP2025 acts when 59.C0 error happened -> sticky solenoid.

If you let CP2025 seat looping continuing then it'll end up stopping and showing 59.C0 error, it can last for more than one or two hours.....

Thank you. Is there any  way how to remove and repair (stick new foam pad) this solenoid or "only" paper solution ?

I checked posts from your link and I want ask, if there is only one solenoid which makes a sticky problem or is there more solenoids which I can check preventively when printer is disassembled ?

HP Recommended

Just insert a V-shape paper into the solenoid will do and that will keep it out with sticky again.

There's no need to clean anything on solenoid and no need to take anything apart.

Yes, there's another solenoid seats at bottom right of CP2025 which controls pick-up roller's turning, but it's hard to get to through normal process and what i do is cutting a piece of black plastic to get to the solenoid from its outside and from where try inserting V-shape paper into it. It's a little hard to make it clarified here.

I checked all pots and found information about three solenodis ?

Right ? sol1.pngsol2.jpgsol3.jpg

How to diagnose which one is Sticked ?

I can't see what's in your pictures. Here's what i'v seen.

You said  three solenodis then it must be a CP2025dn, whereas CP2025n/CP2025 only has two.

The 3rd one is at the top left coner when seeing CP2025 from rear side. It's seldom to be seen having problem but of course it's problematic too but i myself never have to take care this one ever.

As to the 2nd one if you bump into paper grabbed into into and always squeezed at the entrance of paper input then it's the 2nd solenoid's problem. When paper input the pick-up roller will turn one revolution and send paper to a required distance and reaches a sensor there if it's not far enough then print will show jammed up. If it turns more than one round then it'll squeeze at the paper input entrance  and show paper jammed too. The 2nd one is easily going bad if you'v printed many or when time goes long enough.

The 2nd & 3rd ones has nothing to do with looping or 59.C0 error you really do not have the necessity to take care of all of them but if you can it's welcome.

Thank you. My printer is CP2025, so only two solenoids.

I was asking only to know, how to diagnose sticking of the other solenoid, but hope not necessary for the future.

To day I will repair first one which is reason of my problems. Strange, that there isn't chance to disassembly this solenoid and change this foam pad. Paper solution I believe is good, but ….

Also strange that you can't see my pictures of the solenoids

HP Recommended

Yes, I'v seen your pictures this time, it's weird.

All you posted was what i posted long time ago and it was my bad which CP2025 really has three solenoids as the pictures show up and i just forgot the tray1's........

As to the 2nd & 3rd ones you need a knife and hotted on fire to cut out a small piece of the black plastic then you can see and take care the solenoids behind it.

What i taught is the easily way to get to the solenoids without take apart many parts which parts often easily taken away but hardly assembly back. It's always easily missing something and you'll get problems and can be never able to put it back again.
