So during weekend I had a time to open a printer and insert a V paper. It was quite easy. Problem with looping was away, but after axprox 10 prints I have a error 59.c0 on the display and restart don't work. Is this error linked to this V paper (maybe wrong thickness) or is it any new problem ?

thanks for help

If you put the V-shape in the wrong way it'll be a problem.

The open side of the V-shape paper should be the same as the solenoid's open side and the width and length can cover all the solenoid's to keep it from sticky again.

It should have thickness enough but can't be too much to hinder solenoid's opening and closing freely.

If it's not solenoid's problem then it might be the gears assembly and that'll be big problem.

Orientation of V-shape is ok. I used a business card as paper source.

Really strange why now other problem starts

What error  59.c0 means ?

HP Recommended

59.C0.   An error has occurred with the developing separation-drive assy.

59.C0 is what the V-shape paper trying to cure with. Since you see it happened after you put the V-shape paper then you may need to change another thinner one to see if it helps. And make sure that the length of paper must be longer enough to cover the sticky area of the solenoid to keep the metal from sticky together again.

I'm thinking to use a stick with cotton wool soaked in alcohol to remove rest of glue from the solenoid to be sure

Don't do that and it's totally not necessary, because the V-shape paper has blocked them from sticky again and the cotton is going to be easily been dropped into the gap of solenoid then it'll be problem and will make 59.C0 error because the solenoid will not close the gap when needed. Believe me course i'v been there many times and it'll be a pain to try to get that cotton out of it.

What's matter is that the V-shape paper can't be too thicker, but if thinner sounds good.

So I opened printer again and change V-shape. Used other thickness and looks good. Solenoid working again and no error.

Glad to hear problem solved.
