Welcome to the HP Forums. I would be happy to help you with your HP Deskjet F2180 Printer. I understand that you are getting incorrect colors while printing photos and you have already done some preliminary troubleshooting.
Don't worry though as I have a few steps to determine the issue and find a solution as well,
Check the ink levels and clean the print cartriges.
-
-
Open HP Solution Center.
-
Click Settings.
-
Click Print Settings.
-
Click Printer Toolbox.
- Click the Estimated Ink Levels tab.
Figure : Estimated ink levels - both cartridges low
-
Replace any cartridge that is low.
-
-
Print a self-test page from the all-in-one. If the colors are correct on the self-test page and are not faded or light, continue to step 3. If one or more colors are incorrect, missing, or faded, replace the cartridge. See the document that explains how to print a test page for your product.
-
If the colors are only slightly off, use Color Intensity setting that is available on some all-in-one products. Move the slider to enhance the colors.
-
When printing on some photo papers, the black areas show a greenish cast when Photo Paper is the selected paper type. Try changing the paper type setting to HP Bright White or Plain.
-
Clean the print cartridges by using the Clean the Print Cartridges tab in the HP Toolbox.
-
Click the Clean the Print Cartridges tab.
Check for updates.
-
Turn on the printer.
-
Go to HP Drivers & Downloads. If prompted, type your printer model number, click Go, and then click Drivers.
-
Make sure that your operating system is selected, and then click Next.
-
Scroll down the page, and then click Update.
-
Click Download, and then follow the on-screen instructions to save the software to your computer.
-
Open the folder where the software file saved (usually Downloads), double-click the file, and then follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
-
Repeat these steps for all necessary updates.
Click here and refer the document to perform the above steps.
Let me know if that helps.
Cheers.
