Driver for Laserjet 1000 on Mac OS Sierra (10.12.6)

Hi,

 

I understand you are looking for a driver for Laserjet 1000 printer for macOS. 

There are no HP drivers for macOS for this particular printer model. 

https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-laserjet-1000-printer/45674

Apple Software Update is only a distribution method for HP drivers and unfortunately this is not a valid solution. 

Airprint is the Apple driver solution and this model is also not supported via Airprint.

Drivers for your OS are not available from HP.

 

You will have to try the automatic driver updates offered by Apple for this one:

https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-laserjet-1000-printer/45674/document/c03785459/

 

Or look into AirPrint (but the LJ 1000 is not listed as supported):
