Hi all,
Need help with my another issue/problem with this HP MFP printer.
My user who using Microsoft Surface laptop, they are facing duplicate printing for each print jobs sent to this printer.
When a job send to the printer - i can hear the printer running, then it prompt on the screen --> 'Cleaning..." , then, it will stopped showing the error message: "UnExpected Paper Size. Load Oficio in Tray 2. Press [OK] to continue.
My printer has been updated to the latest firmware datecode: 20190716
and the user's surface installed with full printer software suite from HP Drivers/Software. (Release Date: Mar 3, 2020).
The user Windows as well - up to date (Windows Updated).
To avoid from auto load, i personally set it to Tray 2 - A4 Size with Plain paper on both physical printer setting and user setting. However, the problem still persists.
Please advice. Thanks.

The user needs to make sure that the print job is being sent as an A4 and not the size you mention coming up on the screen. This issue is often caused when printing a PDF and having the option that uses the paper size the document is programmed in rather than selecting an available paper size or specifying a tray and not the size of paper. The printer is not making up the paper size, it is only doing what it is told by the computer. The reason for the cleaning cycle is to ensure any toner deposited on the transfer belt due to the paper mis-match is removed.

Hi,
Thanks for your reply. Yes, we did set the proper setting on the said doc size and type before print.
However, the problem still persists.
And, will the wrong paper size to prompt the printer to do printing multiple same printing? Its seems didn't make sense.
Thanks.
