My CLJ 3600 printer will not initialize due to false paper jam indicator. Messages alternate between 13.20.00 JAM INSIDE FRONT DOOR and 13.20.00 FUSER JAM INSIDE TOP COVER.
I enable the paper sensors in diagnostic men and see that sensor B=1and will not go to zero. Service manual says sensor B is paper loop sensor. I need help finding the physical location of the sensor so I can replace or repair it. The service manual does not show where the sensor is located.
Can anyone identify this sensor, please?
Thank you.

Service manual page 54 SR6001
Remove fuser, look fuser from the bottom side, sensor lever should be in the middle, follow sensor lever to sensor itself.

Thank you for the prompt response. I suspected that might be the paper loop sensor, but it does not reset the sensor B on the Manual sensor test when I move it. I had replaced the fuser earlier, but nothing changed. So, perhaps there is a faulty connector, or the new fuser has a bad switch also. I will look more closely at the switch now.
Thanks again.

I verified there is nothing wrong with the paper loop sensor on the bottom of the fuser. I tried two different fusers, but I cannot get that sensor B to turn off (manual sensor test). My question now is, how can I override sensor B to allow the printer to run a full diagnostic test?
Thank you,

I have only the one printer. The first fuser is original to the printer. The second is a new replacement that I ordered online from a third-party vendor. The printer has only 36,100 original pages printed. It is possible, but unlikely that both fusers have the same problem.
