HP P1606dn
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I recently found an article from HPecoSolutions about the HP auto-on/auto-off technology.  The article says this feature will be available in many HP printers starting in Spring2010.  Where can I find a list of printers that can be used with this technology?  More specifically, I have an HP P1606dn laserjet printer and would like to know if the auto-on/auto-off technology can be used with it.  If so, how do I set up the printer to use it.

If your printer did not ship with that feature, you might be able to get it by updating the firmware, if that does not do it your unit likely does not support that feature.

Thank you for the information.  The printer did not ship with that function and updating the firmware made little change to the web interface - still no mention of auto on/off.  It would appear  that the printer is simply to old to use this feature.
