HP CP1515n
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

for a 2 days I have a problem with my printer HP CP1515n.

When I'm printing b&w text it wokrs fine. But when I'm trying to print even one-line text in color it's printing almost whole [page in yellow, doesn't matter: word, pdf, whatever.

I checked the level of yellow and there's still 6-7% of toner.

Should I clean it somehow? Buy a new toner? Check transfer belt if there is?

For a long time from time-to-time it's self-calibrating, it takes even 10 minutes, is it normal? 🙂

Thanks for suggestionsSKM_C30819012810470_0001.jpgSKM_C30819012810470_0002.jpg

To diagnose this issue, print a diagnostics page.

Follow these steps to print a diagnostics page to test the hardware.

  1. On the printer control panel, press the OK button to open the menus.

  2. Press the left or right arrow button () until Reports appears on the control panel display, and then press OK.

  3. Press the left or right arrow button () until Diagnostic Page appears on the control panel display, and then press OK.

The printer prints a diagnostics page.

  4. Inspect the L-shaped color alignment bars at the top and at the bottom of the diagnostics page. There should be equal spacing between the lines, with no overlap, and each color should be distinct from the others.

I know it's better to buy PageWide 🙂 but I need this one.

Thanks,

Hi, thanks for you time.

I made some tests, but still was the same.

Finally I bought new Y-toner and it fixed the problem 🙂

I'm courius why if I had 6% of toner, but who cares 🙂 It works as new one.

Thanks for letting me know Michael. Since the toner was low, it was a good decision to replace the toner. I'm glad the new toner replaced the issue.
