HP Color LaserJet flow MFP M880
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I have a department that recently received a new HP Color LaserJet flow MFP M880 with the stapler stacker mailbox. Currently it has the HP Color LaserJet flow MFP M880 PCL 6 <+> HP Color LaserJet flow MFP M880 - STAPLER driver and when a user prints out anything it staples the sheets when it prints. In order for it not to staple, I have to manualy check "none" for staples in finishing section of properties. We have another printer using the same drivers and it is not happening to that one.

I also connected to the printer itself via IP address and tried looking around if there is a setting that I have overlooked where it is checked to staple all the time by default.

Any help would be appreciated, Thanks!

I looked up the steps on my M830 so they should translate over to your M880:

1. Sign into the EWS

2. Navigate to General > Control Panel Administration > Administration > Stapler/Stacker

3. Change the Stapling option to None

You can find the same steps under the M880 User Guide for the stapler stacker on page 77:
