Example: LaserJet 1320
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Using the manual feed tray, my 1320 printer advances paper or envelope in to secure it into place but after I select print it starts process to pull it through to print but then stops (w/o advancing it further) and triggers orange flashing light.  When I press the orange or green button it pulls it rest of way through w/o printing on it.
Only other issue is bottom tray jams occasionally  in midst of larger print jobs - not sure which stage triggers jam as I always have to clear paper from each of 3 roller stages .  Troubleshooting says it is interlock switch RM1-1320-000CN -- does anyone know.  This printer has been EXCELLENT and this is 1st problem.   I'd like to repair.  I can replace rollers to help w/ tray 1 periodic jams but won't help manual feed issue.  It will work once in a while.  Thank you!

It looks like that your HP 1320 has a Sticky Solenoids problems.

Almost every one of HP and other brand of printer has this kind of problem but if you do it right once it will never come back again.

If your HP 1160 or 1320 Laserjet won't properly feed from tray 1 (the manual slot) chances are you have a sticking solenoid. This is a common problem on many HP Laserjets. If you don't want to disassemble the printer, see my tip at approximately 7:39. Before I made this permanent repair, I found ...

Thank you - this was my initial plan of action but since it locks it in -- then fully pulls it through after error message, I thought might be another issue.  However - last night I was able to push an envelope and it completed pulling it through and printing on it.  Then with additional attempts it was stuck in locked position and I couldn't push it through -- so now I'm thinking sticking solenoids are probable issue.  Thank you for the response and links - I'd found the 1 video prior but both will help.   I will post my results - fingers crossed!!!
