Hi Dvortex, I'm able to make photocopy of a document. But the copying quality is similar to the printing quality - the right side is faded.

Thanks, jayhawkintx.
That was something I hadn't considered- that there are a lot of defective HP toner cartridges out there for this model printer.

I would hate to throw good money after bad, but it's worth a shot. It seems inconceivable that a toner cartridge would only go 1-200 sheets.

I'll find out and let you know.

I'll join the discussion to say that mine has the same issue. I have assumed the issue is the fuser, but I'm interested in what others have found. Many of my components are replaced, including the toner cartridges, the housing for the 4 toner cartridges, the book shaped devide with a wide thin plastic belt (the belt is say 8.5"x25"x0.01" while the unit itself is about 8.5"x11"x1"), and the waste toner unit. My solution has been to set the right margin at 2", which works for single-sheet feeds but does not help when on duplex. Nothing prints on the right 1.7" of my paper.

A new OEM fuser is about $200. This is crazy for a printer that might sell for $400. Say my printer would retail for $400 today, wholesale for $200, and gross profit is 70%. Then makes this printer for $60.  The fuser would not cost more than $10. Shipping between China and the US for small items is insignificant (which is why China can afford to drop ship small purchases). I would not mind paying $33 ($10 with 70% margin) but $200 would hurt.

It was the same for me. Had to change the toner. I have also got toners that does not work at all! So much for:

HP Color LaserJet Pro M252, M274, M277 Printers - Fixing Poor Print Quality

This document is for the HP Color LaserJet Pro M252n, M252dw, MFP M274n, and MFP M277n and M277dw Printers.
The quality of a printed document is not as expected. The procedures in this document should help with print quality problems such as smeared, fuzzy, dark, or faded print, and loose, partially missing, or scattered toner.
Solution one: Use genuine HP toner cartridges
