HP LaserJet MFP M477
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi I have a recently purchased HP LaserJet MFP M477 that is printing yellow, magenta and cyan dots down the left side of the page in the same distance from each other. I tried cleaning several times with no changes. I looked to see if there was a software update and there is none. I checked the toner cartridges and as far as I can tell there is no damage.

Can you add a printout?

Hi mychelleblake,

I can see only cyan spots in this sample page. Replacing the cyan toner cartridge will fix this problem.

I hope this will help,

Cheers!

It's probably not clear on the scan but there are definitely a row of dots for black, cyan, magenta and yellow. Is it possible to have 4 bad toner cartridges at the same time?

HP Recommended

It could be possible, especially if there are non hp genuine toner cartridges. I would suggest to replace one at first to see if that eliminates the dots of that colour, eg. change the black first which is the most commonly used.
